Blockchain Renaissance
Blockchain Renaissance
Client: Blockchain Renaissance Event
Task: Event Identity Design, Web design, Illustrations from scratch
Year: 2021
About the project:
-
Blockchain Renaissance is an event that provides a place for open discourse – raising hard-hitting topics and issues that are often not acknowledged. Organized in Miami and the Hauge, online and on local meet-ups.
-
The main challenge was to design a visual identity that could combine the idea of Renaissance and modern technology. We decided to draw inspiration from iconic artistic elements of the historical Renaissance era, such as Michelangelo’s David or the Creation of Adam, using them as symbols to emphasize the significance of today’s technological and financial innovations.
At the same time, we incorporated synthwave references to recall the early days of digital technology, while the bold gradients represented the vibrancy of contemporary modernity. This duality was also reflected in the typography: the chosen typeface simultaneously evokes the elegance of calligraphy and the raw aesthetics of pixel art.
-
I worked on this project together with Niki Csányi, who led and organized the process. We shared the tasks equally and collaborated closely throughout. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work with her on creating this brand.

The final outcome was a fully developed event website that translated the dual Renaissance–technology concept into a clear and engaging digital experience.
The homepage introduced the event’s vision and highlighted keynote speakers, supported by bold marketing statements such as “a meeting ground for connecting people and blockchain” — visually tied to Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam. A dedicated speakers section showcased industry experts, while the location page outlined diverse participation options, from Miami and The Hague to online and local meetups. The news page functioned as a dynamic blog, keeping the community informed with updates and insights.
Together, these elements created a cohesive platform that not only informed but also embodied the conference’s ambition to bridge tradition and innovation in the blockchain space.
