About the project

  • As an in-house graphic designer at Nhood Hungary, I was responsible for the full visual identity of the Client Party 2023, held at the prestigious Matild Palace in Budapest. The exclusive event was organized by professional event planners and targeted the Auchan Korzó tenants. Since Nhood Hungary is the real estate company managing Auchan Korzó, the occasion was designed not only as a celebration but also as a key opportunity to strengthen corporate image. The event’s theme was inspired by The Great Gatsby—the dazzling nightlife and elegance of the 1920s.

  • I had full responsibility for the project’s graphic execution, ensuring consistency with the original corporate identity while adapting the visuals to the Great Gatsby theme. I reported directly to Gergo Fonay (Marketing Manager) and Barbara Boda-Vári (Event Manager).
    The main challenge was to temporarily adjust the Nhood Hungary logo and create a set of event-specific elements. The green brand color was allowed to be altered in its shade, and an additional accent color was introduced temporarily (gold).

    • Conducted a site visit at Matild Palace to understand the atmosphere and spatial needs.

    • Created moodboards evoking the glamour and Art Deco aesthetics of the 1920s.

    • Coordinated with the interior decoration team to ensure coherence between venue styling and graphic materials.

    • Designed both print and digital materials, as well as motion graphics projected during speeches and performances, all enhancing the immersive Gatsby-inspired mood.

  • The project included a wide range of materials, both printed and digital:

    • Invitations (Save the Date, email invitations)

    • Signage (welcome boards, A4 directional signs, “Entrance” boards, silhouette stickers, podium graphics)

    • Large-scale installations (main entrance graphic with balloons, bakery cover graphic, photo frames)

    • Branded items (table stickers, wristbands, coasters, menus, drink lists)

    • Event assets (host cards, raffle/tombola tickets, stage screens, motion graphics)

    • Online materials (digital invites, follow-up communication)

  • A cohesive visual experience that tied together corporate identity and the glamorous event theme. The graphics set the tone across physical, digital, and atmospheric elements, contributing to an unforgettable evening for clients and stakeholders.
